Although this would seem like it's "saving face" to some of the people commenting, I was in a situation with Southwest in which there was a miscommunication by a rude gate agent in Las Vegas who accused me of trying to scam the airline somehow when I was merely trying to rebook to a more sensible flight after missing a connection. I took the step of filing a complaint with Southwest, and they kindly investigated and apologized for the situation, saying it was a miscommunication. I also received a $100 voucher, which is a kind gesture on their behalf.
We're all human, so we all make mistakes. Kevin Smith should do what everyone else does, and file a complaint with SWA, and not try to use his bully pulpit to get revenge.
