Months of patience and pulling out my hair. I have orientation January 25, 08 and start as a CSA at SFO January 29, 08. I've had many happy moments in life and this new beginning ranks high with the rest of my joyous moments. Thanks SWA for the opportunity

Jeffrey thanks for asking what I am have been wondering and Shari I really appreciate you posting a response. I have been waiting for a CSA position at SFO. I dread calling Michelle in the near future to see what the status is for it has gone from I'll hear something before Christmas to now maybe in February. I have gone through this process since October based upon they were hiring. Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket ( I did). I really wanted to work for Southwest and still do believe that I am a fit but this has become very discourgaging since I thought SFO had the need for CSA's. The previous blog and this one is a great information tool for all thanks SW and best of luck to the other applicants.

Background, drug screen, fingerprints all clear just waiting for SFO (CSA) to have a need for me. Thanks to the staff at Oakland for making me feel like I was not a bother throughout the process!

I was invited to a group interview for CSA in October of this year and had a 1 on 1 November at SFO with Michelle Woods from Alameda. I left each meeting knowing Southwest is where I want to be. It was not the normal interviews. The group laughed, shared experiences and had a moment to learn about others. I was truly impressed with Michelle's deliverence of information. We had questions and she (Michelle) had answers. My 1 on 1 was great. I was nervous but I felt at home as Michelle introduced me to other employees, not just by their names but by their job descriptions. Thanks Michelle! I have not heard back from Southwest but did have contact with a company called First Advantage saying they were hired by Southwest to do background checks. I have been truly blessed to keep my background pretty clean. I am hoping for the best. Okay enough about me. Has anyone recently gone through CSA training or have information on what to expect in Dallas?
