We live in Montreal, in order to fly Southwest we have to drive to Albany ( ALB )
3 1/2 hr drive.
the SWA staff in Albany are pleasent and helpful, security TSA staff are great, the new direct flight to Tampa is fantastic.
Plattsburg is about to open a new airport, 45 minutes from Montreal that has a population of 3 1/2 millon..
SWA would be an instant success
