It is amazing that it takes until 2012 to complete this task, especially given the fact that other airlines already have it. I for one, will not pay for it. If there is a charge I simply will not use it.

Although a single traveller, I would like it if families board first. If there are any little screaming, crying children, I would like to be able to scope out where NOT to sit. This is just another goof by Southwest, plain and simple. Also, I feel it is unfair to families as they need the extra time.

It is nice that they will try it first but it really will not improve anything. Just another thing to think about. With the cheap prices, is change really that necessary? I mean - if I wanted more I would seek out an airline that has 18 inch seats (Southwest is 17) and I would pay the 20 bucks more for the ticket. But for the price, the service is fine and adequate, I think.
