Negative comments that I try to post seem not to get through but ones written in favor of southwest or disparaging fat people go through just fine.
When is your company going to apologize to Kevin Smith in a way that 1. accepts responsibility for rude and poorly trained emplyees and 2. does not shift blame to the victim or assert half truths about safety? If Kevin Smith fit in the seat and the pilot did not see him then what really happened?
Try not being a bunch of corporate group-think liars for once.

Southwest is still playing games and bending the truth. This is a half-apology, half-insult statement and continues to waste any goodwill that might have been gained by reaching out to Mr. Smith.
You should feel ashamed with yourselves. Debating the decisions of your employees is exactly what you should be doing. Correct that... there is no debate. They were wrong and offensive. The only thing to do is to discuss how and why they were ignorant.
Bad apology and bad company. Go sit and spin.

Do you realize how bad you've messed up with your airlines handling of Mr. Smith?
What about the second large woman?
You need to fire everyone involved if you want to put this behind your company. That includes those posting false information online via twitter and this joke of a blog.

You've lost a customer for life here,
Not because you booted someone from standby because they might have been too big (although they weren't), but because you used your stupid corporate group-think speak to lie about it in a knee-jerk, defensive cover-up.
You should be ashamed with yourselves. I'm just glad to see that you picked a famous person who was able to smack you where you hurt.
