hey, all you good folks at frontier...
be thankful, if southwest takes you over...
it could be worse, just ask any ex eastern
employee...once upon a time there was
a guy named frank lorenzo, who had nothing
but disdain for unions and employees in general,
he took continental into chapter 11 twice...and stole
routes and aircraft from eastern, we were wounded
just like you are...the difference between then and
now, southwest will grow the operation, not destroy
it...
southwest won't say it, but the president of us air did
say it...there is too many seats chasing too few passengers
at some point, overall capacity has to come out of the system,
unfortunately, you, are going to be the first sacrificial lamb,
good luck to all of you, some of you are going to keep your
jobs and be with a profitable company that treats it's people
pretty good...just think of it this way,,southwest must be doing
something right, they have made money for years and never
had a strike, never, thank god have had an fatal crash,
by the way, to this day is still have not flown on southwest..
but as someone who still follows the industry, i do admire
what they have accomplished, and hope that they can work
some magic for all you long suffering frontier employees...

appreciated your comments..
i am retired eastern airlines (should have gone to work for southwest)
we had a program called leisure class..
the whole premise was the passenger was betting that
we couldn't get him a seat...we usually won the bet..
and it was based on past load factors going back five years
in some cases..
keep up the good work...you guys do a great job..
