Not much Love for MHT in this schedule. You can make it up to us by adding a few flights to ATL when you get the chance.
WN has now cut the MHT schedule by over 50% from where it was in 2005. The loss of MHT-LAS is very painful as it is a very popular flight. I would have rather seen the fare go up than to see the flight cut.

With the new schedule out, I was hoping to jump on a bargain fare, but I find the first four flights between Manchester and Baltimore in early September are already posted at a pretty high want to get away fare of $102 each way. For Boston to Baltimore on the same dates every flight is listed at cheap $43. Why are the want to get away fares between Boston and Baltimore always cheaper than the Manchester flights? I see this over and over and a lot of my business partners now take the bus to Boston to get the better deals. I suspect Manchester's higher fares have caused enough leakage to Boston leading to SW dropping a Manchseter to Baltimore flight in the new schedule. Thus you are canibalizing your own flights at Manchester with cheaper fares at Boston.
Other than seeing Boston get better deals from Southwest, I think the new schedule for Manchester is timed well for the market. It looks like a smart schedule despite our losing 3 flights. I hope to taking Southwest nonstop flights from Manchester to Denver and Atlanta sometime soon.

Is there a way online to deal with refunding for a cancelled flight after the flight was to have left? I couldn't get my travel changes approved by my company between the time I was notified of the cancellation and the time the cancelled flight was to have departed. But now I cannot access that flight online to get it changed. With one seat left on the last flight that met my new travel needs, I found I couldn't make the change online and the phone lines to a live person were overloaded at Southwest due to the snowstorm. So I bought that last seat on a one-way ticket and hope that my return flight on my original ticket doesn't get cancelled out since I didn't take the originating flight. I'm also hoping I can get refunded for the original flight leg that was cancelled since I could not get it converted online. The system is good, but there is room for improvement. Sometimes people need more time to change flight plans when flights are cancelled due to weather.

How about the important stuff? What happens to the drink coupons? We used to get the with every award. Will they be issued when points are redeemed for a flight or do they just go away with the new program?

There is a fare war going on at Boston and New Hampshire flyers are heading to Boston to save. Unfortuantely, people that would have flown Southwest out of MHT are discovering cheap fares on JetBlue and AirTran at Boston. Southwest needs to find a way to reclaim those flyers and keep them at MHT
