I agree with Sherrie - I'm a long-time SWA flyer and have always preferred them over other airlines. I liked the new boarding system initially but feel that as a non-business traveler I'm getting screwed. Fares are going up dramatically and I can't get an A boarding pass anymore. Ding fares have become a joke. The last thing keeping me with SW is the ease of booking and changing flights without penalty. If you start charging for that, then I'm outta here - that would give no advantage to flying SW and I might as well pick my assigned seat on another airline.
Also, even though I don't have kids I don't think it's right to have them board late. I would rather see them board early than business travelers just because they can pay more.
