How many customers do you think you are going to add with this new "convienence"?
How many customer are you going to lose because of said "convienence"?
I'm guessing from comments more than you are going to gain which could be as low as ZERO!
Do the $10 fees collected on an unknown number of tickets make up for the lost customers?

Keep starting new threads to make sure all the negative comments can't be viewed, seems a bit hopeful that opinions will change. From what I've read in the past 2 day seems to be about 95% against and few % undecided and a few % in favor. Some how I don't see that changing. I hope this OPTION/FEE whatever you want to call it is short lived. Just raise the fare $10 hardly any one would notice fares vary everday anyway. HORRIBLE IDEA!

Let me start by saying I think this is a terrible idea but if SWA insists on going through with it anyway they should limit the Early Bird check-ins to the "A" boarding spots. Another words 60 people minus the number of Business Select and A-List passengers. That way you wouldn't be caught paying extra to board after the entire "A" group and families. And people checking in 24 hours ahead would have a chance to get resonable boarding spots.
