How about Batman! You are the Super Hero of Southwest Airlines, Batman is hot and since you'd be all covered up, no shaving is required!

For what it's worth Steve, I was one of the lucky 2600 that attended and even more lucky to be honored with the President's Award. Your Team did an incredibly, OUTSTANDING job. I never have been to such an extravagant affair. (This is my third SWA Banquet).
Thank you for all the hard work and tireless hours you and your Team spent planning and executing this celebration. From one of the 2600, I truly appreciated every little detail...especially the flowers!
How about some pictures of the event?

I can't tell you how many times Colleen has impacted my life as there are just too many to name. I can tell you though, that everything that has been written in the last week, is true and heartfelt. In reading the blog, I get proud, puffy, and almost always teary eyed, like I am reading articles about my own Mother.
I recently had a career clarifying moment with Colleen at a Culture Committee meeting. She surprised me in how much she knew about my Southwest life. I am just one of over 34,000 you know. Anyway, when I approached her later in the day and thanked her for taking the time to know about me, one person in her universe, her words were, "Mother knows all" followed by her signature laugh and a great big hug.
Truly, I could not ask for a better replacement of my own Mother, I just wish she lived a little closer so I could make those "nightly Mom phone calls" that I miss so much. Thank you Colleen, for being you, for being Southwest, and for being a "Mother" to us all.

I am all for the Roll-It-Forward concept Mallory! After my second, maybe third experience of this HDQ phenomenon I LUV-ed it and started doing it everywhere I went. My favorite is when I roll it forward for someone who is waiting. Their look is amazing and I always get a thank you. It's so cool how many of them roll it forward for the next person too.
Southwest is so unique in our Culture but I always just figured this was a case of a memo gone out at some point in time. Thanks Mallory, for clearing the air, and for spreading our Culture to the world!
And thanks Colleen for adding the "seat gaskets" to HDQ also! 😉

Bill,
You and I in the Amazing Race. We would be unbeatable! I love the crazy physical challenges. Unfortunately I don't think airlines Employees are permitted to race.
My dream is Survivor, someday you will see me on the show. However, since you have to be gone so long, it might not be until I retire as I guess getting a LOA for a game show wouldn't go over very well! And according to my husband, retirement is not in my near future! 🙂 In the meantime, happy gaming!!!

Colleen,
I am so honored to be part of this amazing Company that you and Herb have built and nutured. I remember the first time I met both of you in the old terminal one in Phoenix. You made an amazing impression on me that day as you do everytime I have the priviledge of seeing you.
It was an amazing day when your announcements came out. I guess years from now your Employees will be saying, "What were you doing when Herb and Colleen made their announcements"? You make that kind of impact on your Employees, this Company and our Customers.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn from you and grow with you. Thank you for building my future. Thank you for the personal touch you bring every holiday, birthday, and anniversary. Thank you for taking care of our Family members in the Armed Services. Thank you for being who you are and having the passion and determination to bring to fruition, Southwest Airlines. The Thank you's could go on forever.
Congratualtions Colleen, this is very much deserved. I look forward to six more years of your greatness and inspiration!

It takes me a shorter amount of time to fly Southwest from LAX to see my Family in PHX than it does for some of my Phoenix family to drive and see each other! Thanks to this great Company, I see them often. In fact, we just celebrated my dear Italian Grandma's 92nd birthday! Happy B-Day Grandma...

The Culture is what makes Southwest feel like a small Company even though we keep growing where we're going. Kudos to all of our Ambassadors! What a brilliant idea and Team. I look forward to working with Mallory in the Provisioning area.
