Wow! I see I'm the only one who thinks this is a suicide attempt by Southwest.
One of the best things about Rapid Rewards had been its simplicity. In one strole Southwest has gone from an award-winning program that was loved for its simplicty and ease of use to what's probably the most screwed up loyalty program in the travel business.
The New Coke analogy made earlier is right on target. The retreat from this disaster should be entertaining. I'll be watching it on the Direct-TV on Frontier. Bye Bye, SWA.
