SWA will do the right thing if it holds true to it's values, which I'm optimistic that it will. Yesterday changethis.com published a free ebook I wrote that includes SWA. The ebook is entitled "The Connection Culture: A New Source of Competitive Advantage." It's available at changethis.com for free. I hope SWA employees will download and read it then make sure they do their part to uphold the values that have made SWA so special.
