I know Southwest has mobile.southwest.com for check-in for those that have web enabled phones. It would be nice to check-in by sending a text message with your confirmation number for those that do not have web enabled phones then get a confirmation back saying the check-in has been received with your boarding letter/number.

I haven't figured out Southwest's pricing. It costs me $159 to fly from Baltimore to Florida and $49 to come back (same mileage each way) Yet it is $99 to California each way which is three times the distance and much more fuel. I have looked at pricing to Florida several different days and it is the same price each day to go to Ft. Lauderdale. Can someone explain this to me?

You are heading to Madison, Wisconsin which brings me to the point that the nearest airport that SWA flys to is Chicago's Midway. Over 2 hour drive. Why doesn't SWA fly to more midwestern cities? It seems they are lacking their presence in the Midwest. I always have to fly other airlines when flying to the midwest. (Usually ones I hate.) It would be nice to that area. I think Minneapolis was the 7th busiest airport in the U.S. last year and I would think SWA would be a good fit in the midwest.

Can someone please point me to where on Southwest's website where it says there is a dress code for getting on an airplane? She paid her airfare and should be able to fly. Southwest just ran ads on TV last month with women in bathing suits advertising fares to Florida (covering up much less than this girl) so I don't know why Southwest was making a big deal out of this.

I fly from Baltimore a lot. One of the airports I fly to that Southwest does not go to is MSP. Northwest charges more to MSP than SWA charges to go to Vegas (Twice the distance at half the price.) It would be nice to see SWA enter MSP market so people don't keep getting ripped off flying in and out of MSP. Even if I had to switch planes at MDW, that would work too.
I think SWA could be sucessful just by flying to a couple hub cities like Las Vegas, Chicago and a Florida city like Orlando or Tampa from Minneapolis.

I still haven't figured out how planes load passengers faster by letting them choose their own seat. I have seen many times where someone wants a seat in the front of the plane taking 5 minutes to squueze their oversized carry-on in the overhead bin (which shouldn't have made past security in the first place but thats other story) holding up 75 other people behind them. I have flown for many years and noticed that assigned seats loading planes from the back first, tends to get the plane out of the gate faster. This way you have the back half of the plane already in and you aren't holding up the front rows. This also allows me to pick a seat that I want and not show up to the airport 2 hours early to get that A pass or to be the first in line so I get my window or aisle seat that I want.
