Yet another great article Carole!! I loved "So When Are You Going To Get A Real Job" as well! I will be in Dallas in three weeks for FA Training Class 227 and I cannot wait!!! It's been a 5 month wait - but I know it will be WELL worth it! Maybe we will get to meet someday!! Hi Brian - Great article - but I have one little comment to make. I was at your HQ on April 20th for my GI, and although I was REALLY impressed with the wonderful things I saw - what really impressed me the most was the PEOPLE!! It was so awesome because everyone I came in contact with was SO very nice - and they were having FUN at work!! Yes - there were wonderful things displayed everywhere; but there were SMILES and LAUGHTER everywhere as well! I didn't know at the time how things were going to work out for me - but I came back to Oklahoma and told everyone that I found the place I would like to work!! Well-----turns out------I will be there September 25th for Class 227 Inflight Training!!! 🙂 Yippee!! Brian - I definitely hope to say "howdy" when we make our tour. 39 days and counting!! PLM

Brian - I LUV your article! It could not have come at a better time - I just turned 49 two days ago and am in the "pool" ANXIOUSLY awaiting training!!! Carole - What a wonderful article!! I am currently a "poolie" whose 1-on 1 was 4/20 and HOPING the invites for Class 227 will extend that far. I have copied and pasted your article to print and have handy for those who ask me about my new, exciting career change! I have already had to remind those folks who tease me about becoming a "waitress in the air" that I will also be the person responsible for their safety on board that aircraft! Your article sums it up perfectly and I absolutely cannot WAIT to become part of this awesome Southwest family! I know it sounds cliche' - but it really is a dream come true for me!!
