A recent boss's line
Was not so very fine.
Indeed my job was gone
As the economy was wrong!
Planning "dines" serving lovely wines,
Was where I spent my time!
Now this heart of mine,
For this same work does pine.
For now my work consists
Of making too many lists!
On tracking resumes sent,
Way too much time is spent.
So sipping the fruit of the vine
Becomes a way to bide time.
Until my phone will ring
And winning a job (or this trip) will bring!
