I myself have severe asthma and hayfever. Maybe people shut cut down all the trees so i can have a long walk in the spring time. Maybe we should ask people to refrain from smoking in public when i am outside, as that could potentially cause a life threathening asthma attack for me. in a perfect world, there is give and take, you give something and you get something. Having all people on a flight refrain from eating peanuts because you or a family member have a peanut allergy, is inconsiderate towards other people, as they do not get anything in return.
I do get the fact that a peanut allergy is life threatening, and peanuts should not be served aboard a flight that carries passengers with such allergies. i fully agree with this, but this me first and only me attitude that many off the people here with family members with peanut allergies have is degrading and inconsiderate towards the other passengers, and a more give and take approach would be to rally for alternative snacks to be served on flights, instead of the no snack for nobody
