The airport screeners take it too far. The liquid and gel restrictions were applied to my lunch accessories. I was relieved of small bottles of juice--orange, apple, and grapefruit. Dole fruit cups, and yogurt. Can't they differentiate between those FOOD items and the chemical items that may be used by terrorists to attack us like nail polish remover, bleach, ammonia, hair gels, etc.
Liquids are restricted, not banned, and I should have been allowed to proceed with the items I had.
