GREAT post, Edward! What a terrific reminder for all of us...WE are what makes the Southwest Culture what it is, and we can't look any further than the mirror if we're unhappy with it. THANK YOU!

Ditto, Richard! I, too, am biased, but my seat thinks that our seats are the best in the business (along with our Flight Attendants, Pilots, Ground Ops folks, Res Agents, Provisioning Agents....well, you get the picture). 😃

Jill, your post made me laugh, because I don't think of myself as a "runner" either, but I did finish the OKC and NYC marathons in 2004. What amazing experiences! I couldn't have done it without my MP3 player, either. It's funny what songs make good running soundtracks for different people! Here are a few that helped me make it through 26.2 miles: Once in a Lifetime - Talking Heads; Right Now - Van Halen; Mrs. Potter's Lullaby - Counting Crows; Honkey Tonk Woman - Rolling Stones; I'm Gonna Be - The Proclaimers; and Walking on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves. My marathoning days are over, but I've found a new hobby in cheering for runners at marathons. Good luck with your next half!! 😃

Great post, Sunny! I was lucky enough to be one of the Culture Activities Reps who "hosted" this group, and we had such a fun time with everyone on this trip! A note to all SWA Employees: this is the trip of a lifetime! Be sure to put your name in the hat at the 2007 Messages...it's a guaranteed good time!
