I worked for SWA from 1977 to 1984 and I was the second station manager for BPT. I was only there for a few months before I was transferred to MAF, but I have good memories from Jefferson County. One of our more colorful captains (time has erased his name) would call ahead from DAL to have us meet his plane with an order of crawfish. He'd stand there in the forward galley having lunch, which was a mighty quick one in the days of the ten minute turn!
