Bill, my wife and I live 10 min from Dulles and were elated when Southwest added the non-stop service between Dulles and Tampa. Every flight we took was sold out, and given all the similar posts I've read here, I don't understand the business rationale. With only 2 flights per day both ways, and heavy passenger volume, I was expecting more legs to be added.... I studied Southwest in MBA school and remember thinking "how smart those guys are compared to the buffoonery of the legacy carriers". And now this! You've lost two customers forever, as we refuse to make that obnoxious, traffic-jammed trip to BWI. Have you ever made that drive in the morning from NoVA to BWI? Probably not! And with all these posts complaining about this decision, where is your reply??? Not cool!
