While I served as Commissioner of Aviation for the City of Chicago, we had no better partner in rebuilding the new Midway International Airport terminal than Herb Kelleher and Southwest Airlines. Partners such as this allowed the City of Chicago to honor the Tuskegee Airmen with a permanent display that is the southern facade of the new Midway ticketing lobby and to partner with the Dodo Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen in supporting the Young Eagles program at Midway and the Gary-Chicago Airport.
