I was thrilled to be able to stop by "the porch" this weekend for a beer. What a neat, comfy place to just relax and people-watch or visit with friends. Whoever thought of this tie-in deserves a pat on the back!

Great detective work, Brian! This is so fascinating to an airplane geek like myself.

Kevin Smith's profane verbal tirade on Twitter only goes to show he's unwilling to resolve the situation like an adult. His followers are OH SO BRAVE to come and make anonymous attacks toward Christi and SWA from the behind the safety of their computer monitors.

Thanks Christi! My wife got a good laugh from that SYTYCD comment! It's been an adventure. Cheers, and here's to the next million!

I noticed that Jodi and Christie seem to be using roller bags for their belongings. I don't think I've ever seen that on the "Amazing Race" before, and I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode. If anyone can pack a tight suitcase it's our Flight Attendants. Good Luck ladies!

My most recent "unputdownable" book was "Marley & Me" by John Grogan. A couple others I had trouble putting down were "Isaac's Storm" and "Devil in the White City" - both books authored by Erik Larson. And finally, "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakauer.

I was one of the lucky few to be on the testing team in OAK from Ground Ops. I saw that Customers really found this new tool to be quite useful. Our Customer Service Agents also said that for the most part it made their jobs easier and helped Customers move through the process more quickly.

I can't wait until DAL is brought into the 21st century. When I go through the newer terminals in places like BWI, AUS & TPA (to name a few) it really stands out to me how dated Dallas Love's facilities are. It will be fitting for Southwest to have a new terminal in Dallas by the time the Wright Amendment is finally gone. I do hope some of the history can be preserved.

After we got Slam Dunk One I thought it would be cool of we had a NFL - themed aircraft, since we're a huge NFL sponsor and official airline of the Super Bowl. And I even have a name for it - "Touchdown One." Would that not be a fitting name?

I would also love to be an Amazing Race contestant! I love being able to predict which airlines they will fly between points and the hubs they will connect at.
Bill, I'm sure you have seen this... when the contestants get on a plane like a China Airlines 747, then you see them supposedly landing at their destination on an Air France A320. Sometimes I have even seen footage of the wrong airport. I just have to sigh and roll my eyes. Or what about the final episode a few seasons ago when a plane was brought back to the gate so a team (Uchenna and Joyce?) could board? Give me a break!
My best friend Shannon and I submitted an audition tape a few years ago. He's the son of a Continental Captain and I work for SWA. I think we would have been a competitive team! But we never got the call.
