I don't understand the pet fee. My pet is my carry on. Southwest doesn't charge for carry ons. The pet is in a carrier under the seat in front of me, just like my backpack or purse. I understand that there might be some additional liability, but $95 each way? That adds almost $200 to my trip for what is basically a carry on! Boo! 😞
