Very unhappy about loss of Pittsburgh-Philadelphia. I use that route regularly and now the airfares will skyrocket. It's hard to believe that Southwest is retreating.

PIT-LGA is Southwest's for the picking. From everything I've read, Us AIrways is losing money at LGA, and they have consistently reduced service to PIT in general. If Southwest were to pick up the route (I know --you need slots), I have every confidence that US Airways would fold.

Bill-I can only dream that you will eventually serve PIT from LGA. I am trying to rid myself of US Airways but haven't been able to completely. This would put me one step closer. Back in the day, three airlines flew between PIT and LGA. Right now there is just one.

I must say that I am a little disappointed that Pittsburgh - Philadelphia is losing yet another frequency. I really don't want to have to fly US Airways when I need to stay in town later than the Southwest 5:50 p.m. return.
