In addition to the quart-size slider bag, can I also bring a Ziploc bag on a flight that can be used to store snacks such as dried fruit or hard boiled eggs? Thank you in advance for your response.

Solution
The single quart size bag that TSA allows is for liquids such as toiletries. You are certainly able to bring whatever food you want in the container of your choice. Just make sure not to bring gels or jellies.
