You will need to pay the difference with points. To pay cash you would have to cancel the reservation, get a full refund of your points, then pay the full fare in cash.

This is exactly where there are multiple lawsuits right now about the Holiday
No one in this thread complaining about baggage is posting about travel over the holidays. Their bags were lost in October and November. Before the holiday Southwest had one of the lowest rates of mishandled bags, lower than United, American, Delta, JetBlue, and Alaska. I know reading can be hard, but if you are going to post please try to comprehend the situation first and post when you have something useful to say.

If you cancel a reservation with EBCI on it, you will forfeit the EBCI. There is no refund when you cancel.

Southwest Hotels and the phone number you listed are run by booking.com NOT Southwest Airlines.
I have no idea what you are saying regarding spam, bracelets, etc, but if you have questions perhaps reach out to booking.com
This is a customer to customer forum, you will not receive replies from either Southwest Airlines or booking.com here.

The channel list online is accurate. If Southwest does not offer the channel it seems unlikely that you will be able to watch it.

I am aware of people who were given the month of January to earn points or take flights they needed for 2022 status, but I don't recall seeing anyone being given status just because they had a flight booked which was canceled. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it's not something I recall seeing people say happened. If you did not earn the points you needed in January it may be more unlikely that you will be given the Preferred status you are seeking.

A few thoughts....
Verify your PreCheck is not expired, you need to renew it every 5 years.
Verify the name on the reservation matches your PreCheck name exactly, including middle name.
manually add the KTN to the reservation: https://www.southwest.com/air/manage-reservation/?page=ADD-SECURE-TRAVELER-INFORMATION
see if an agent at the check-in counter can assist you. Sometimes they can remove/add the KTN
PreCheck is never guaranteed. TSA may not always issue the PreCheck authorization.

@ceebeck Thanks for the additional info. It does sound like a 2024 expiration would be appropriate.

@ceebeck44 I'm still not understanding when you earned the other 125k points. The promo CP does not factor into the discussion.

Strangely however, it congratulated me for reaching CP and now shows my companion pass though 12/32/23. Earned just today with this 10K boost, so should be 12/31/24. Will refresh in a few days and hope it corrects.
When did you earn the other 125,000 points? If you earned points in 2022 and benefited from the January extension then the 2023 expiration date is accurate as you are seen as earning CP in the extended 2022 calendar. If you earned all the points in January 2023 then a 2024 expiration would be expected.

Yes, the sequential boarding benefit applies to all fares EXCEPT Business Select.

Keep in mind they will not show in your account as points in your overall total, they will only appear as points counting towards Companion Pass status. They are not showing for me yet.

Oh, good point @dfwskier. I was thinking the WGA+ would need to be available on the desired flight, but really if it's available on the current flight that's what the OP should change to. That at least provides the opportunity to switch, IF there is availability.

Short answer... if you purchased a Wanna Get Away fare you will need to pay the fare difference to change your flight.
Medium answer... all other fare options (WGA+, Anytime, and Business Select) have some ability to change flights to another on the same day for no price difference. I suspect with that big of a price difference you purchased a WGA and all that is currently available is Business Select. You could wait to see if a WGA opens up, but I'm guessing that's not likely to happen.

I don't think it's possible to sign-up for a Southwest credit card without a signup bonus offer and 10,000 points is not a signup bonus so something isn't right here. There could be several things going on here, but as noted, you will need to talk with Chase about any of this as they control what bonus you have and what points you will earn.
Some possibilities:
You do not qualify for a signup bonus if you earned another Southwest credit card sign up bonus within the last 24 months
Chase has not actually posted the signup bonus to your account yet and what you are seeing so far is only points related to your spend
You did not meet the deadline for the bonus
You also did not provide information about which specific card and where you signed up through which makes it a little hard to come up with additional suggestions for you. At the end of the day you will need to discuss this with Chase and have them tell you what is going on.
