Do I have to check crutches when I fly?

Have to? No. They can be placed in the overhead bin if you want to take them onboard or gate checked if you would prefer.

There are no restrictions on crutches. TSA advises they can be in either checked or carryon bags (although what carryon bag could fit a set of crutches, I am not sure)
