Boycott this Texas-based airline, that like Texas, has gotten “too big for it’s britches” with draconian flight attendants gone a bit mad.

Lots of better options than this bunch of losers.

This is totally unacceptable.

Maybe include the full story instead of painting the situation to your liking.

After being told by the FA prior to taxing that she may not be able to fly due to the dog whimpering and her unzipping the carrier, which is in policy to keep the carrier closed in flight (in the aircraft airborne or not), the FA repeatedly kept telling her to zip the carrier up. After not doing so the FA made the call not to travel with this situation. Unfortunately, this can happen to anyone, given you don't follow the policy you initially acknowledged and agreed to when purchasing your ticket with the Pet In Cabin request. Also, if your pet is unfit to travel, you will not travel. It's not the FAs picking on you, it is simply a policy set in place that one must follow if you're traveling with a pet in cabin.

As for the couple who followed pursuit for "speaking up for her", they called the FAs "c*nts" and kept acting foul in their attitude and language. This is considered unruly behavior and by all means the Pilot and FAs have the right to deboard you from the aircraft they're flying. Rightfully so too, who would want to fly with two people who called you obscenities prior and are showing aggression in their tone. It's unsafe, no one knows how one could react when angry, especially being 36,000ft in the air.

Also, SWA is such a terrible airline, they even refunded EVERYONE who was deboarded and offered to rebook for free 😞

I must agree with the OP.  The incident is totally and undeniably unacceptable.

Spin however you like, but at the end of the day, she was calming a puppy who was in distress.
