I have a friend who insists that everytime she flies SWA they automatically bump her to first class b/c of her "nerve damage" in her knee. I find this hard to believe and think she is exaggerating. Is this policy for SWA? She also says that the Cockpit is open to access in flight EVEN SINCE 9-11! Is this true as well? I love my friend but I have been flying non-rev on AA and I know this is not policy for them. Can you set me straight please?

Southwest does not have "first class"
Prior to general boarding, preboarding is available for Customers who have specific seating needs to accommodate a disability, and/or need assistance in boarding the aircraft, and/or need to stow an assistive device. If you have a disability and require preboarding, you should request a Preboarding Document from the Customer Service Agent at your departure gate.
The cockpit is not open during flight, I have seen it open during boarding.
