Abandoned service between IAD Dulles and ATLanta 🙁

Any reason why Southwest abandoned the IAD Dulles Washington DC and Atlanta?🙁🙁      Is this just temporary or permanent ?  Please restart this sector 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Unfortunately no one here will know why they cut service to IAD but my guess is they have more service out of DCA or maybe the goals aren’t being met at IAD 

your best bet is to email southwest by clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of this page and share your thoughts and maybe someday your route will return.

They are looking at profitable routes and dumping those that don't make money.  

Same reason that they're not interested in Knoxville TN.
