Hi, Nicole & Jill! Thanks so much! π Yes, I definitely want to get my foot in the door, & I will. I agree, Jill, that it's hard to wait a year! Who knows, though; maybe the three of us will work together! π

Sarahlex, I've seen "Airline" (& recorded quite a few episodes); I remember seeing episodes where Customers have been pulled aside & talked to about body odor, & they freshened up before boarding. I also remember an episode where a man flying out of LA had to put on jeans under his skirt (yes, that's what he was wearing) because when he sat down, people could see under his skirt. I want to say also that I'm quite sure he wasn't wearing underwear. He wasn't happy about it, but did what he was asked & made the flight.
For all of the people who say you won't fly Southwest again, what would you do if a customer came into a restaurant you were eating in with no shirt or shoes & that person went through the same experience as Kyla E.? Would you say you wouldn't eat there again? I've seen on the windows at fast food restaurants (which I rarely eat at, but assume they still say this) No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service.
Southwest, you have my support & are really my favorite airline! π You already know that, though.

I have some more; these have Oklahoma town names in them:
What town might you not find ladies/girls in? Boise City! (it's pronounced Boys, not Boy-zee, like Idaho)
What town do you enter to go into your backyard from the outside? Gate!
What town might you find people who LUV to cook? Baker!
Where in NW Oklahoma do people go to fly somewhere? Jet (the population of that town is 230)
What town might you not find a lot of sunshine? Cloudy
"Knock, knock!"
"Who's there?"
"Ada."
"Ada who?"
"I Ada (ate a) steak & baked potato at Steak & Ale Monday night! (Ada is the town in Southern/SEastern Ok. where I transferred to finish college)
What town in the Panhandle would you go to when you need to drive/lock/unlock a door? Keyes! Yes, it's spelled with another "E."
I have other Oklahoma town jokes, but will stop with those for now. Here are two more I have:
What part of your body do you sometimes use in sentences? Colon!
I'm saving the best of all for last-What did Blog Boy Brian say after eating too much candy corn? "Oh, I filafel!" (Feel awful; a filafel is something you eat in Israel. I ate one there, & it was good)

Maybe you can dress up as an RSA, a CSA, an FA, an SWA peanut wrapper, or candy corn!
I think we can dress up for Halloween at work, so I'm going to dress up as an FA! π I just can't wait until the day comes when I'm wearing those wings with my name on them!

I remember when I was in school (we didn't do this in college, but we did in Jr. high & HS), students had to do the "dollar bill" test; we had to get on our knees when wearing shorts & skirts & hold a dollar bill up to see if they were an appropriate length.
USS Blog Boy, I agree with you! π

Angela, Tang is a drink. π Maybe you already know that. I don't see it sold anywhere now, but maybe it still is. I don't remember if I ever drank it, but remember hearing the name. I was in third grade when the Challenger exploded.
At my school in 8th & 9th grades, there was an organization called Young Astronauts! Members got to tour the NASA Space Center. π I'm not from HOU & I've never lived there.
Ahhh, I LUV blogging & reading the posts/comments; I really do, but I'm going to take a week long break from it.

I have one more thing I want to add. When I travel in the summer, I pack my Eeyore hoodie in my carryon. That way, if it's cold in the airport or on the plane, I have something warm. Also, if it happens to be raining when I arrive & or leave, I'll be ready! π

I have another joke. What car dealership would SWA employees never buy from? UNITED Ford! Ha, ha, ha! I don't know how many cities have that dealership, so some people reading this might not have heard of it. I put United in caps to emphasize & not to shout.

Here are some things I pack: 2 bottles of perfume, lotion, body splash, shower gel, all my other toiletries, my book Nuts, (as well as another one), paper, my Walkman, camera, batteries, & other things. Also, I always bring my cell phone & charger. I always make a list of what to pack, & I make a list of what goes in my carry-on & what to put in my check in bags.

You're welcome, Tracy. About the only thing I can tell you is that Provisioning Agents see the planes are stocked & fully serviced with supplies, which you obviously already know. I read what it says under "What It Takes to be a Provisioning Agent," but other than all of that information, that is all I know!
Too bad they don't serve candy corn, too! *Scratches head in thought. Hmmm, maybe we should suggest SWA does that!* Being a Provisioning Agent does sound fun, too! π Please keep us updated when you can on how things are going!

Hi, Joe. I did hear from Kim not long after I made that comment on the 20th. He has a lot going on now. Hopefully, he'll be back on soon! I don't know why I didn't say sooner that I'd heard from him.
What did I not win? Will I be a winner next time? Maybe I'll win a date with a Southwest employee! Ha, ha; the chances of that happening are as high as it snowing on my birthday, which will never happen!

Tracy, I was wrong on the book title. It's "The Practical Guide to Becoming a Flight Attendant." I know you were hired for a Provisioning Agent, but should you ever try to become an FA, maybe you can buy the book! I know I want to. π

Hi, Tracy! Thanks for the advice! I will certainly give that a try. I think about questions I remember being asked at my FA, CSA, & RSA interviews. Some of the answers I gave might be the same, others different, & others I might try to give 2 brief responses, rather than one; it just depends. The other day, I sat down & wrote those questions & answers; I also wrote questions I could possibly be asked, but I've not jotted down my responses. I certainly would not have these in front of me at the interview, but think it would help having written them down. :)
I had a flight attendant when I was coming home from MCO tell me about a book at Target titled "The Art of Becoming a Flight Attendant," or something like that. I'll have to look online again to be sure of the name, but I want to buy a copy. :)
Nolan, in answer to your question, my guess is that it depends on the need; I'm not sure though, but I'm sure there is someone who knows. I'm sorry I'm not positive about my response!

I like seeing the Flight Attendants wear gloves when they pick up cups. I think it's a good idea. James, I too, am a frequent handwasher. I also carry hand sanitizer in my purse.
If someone could make lids small enough to fit the cups, would using those ever be a possibilty? I just had a thought, though; what if the lids come off when you hand the drinks over? Hmmm, maybe my idea wasn't so great.
