Maybe the payoff to this campaign is Nick Pudder gets fired, takes a job as a bank teller, and ends up on the receiving end of the pneumatic tube in the sequel to the "Deposit" ad. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNl_6LLXMko) That's sure to leave a mark.

I love the candy cane masthead!
Now, the bottom ten:
11. It takes fifteen minutes to find a parking space at a megamall.
12. "Christmas Shoes"!!!
13. The dearth of decent gift choices five days out.
14. Mannheim Steamroller
15. Upside-down Christmas trees
16. "HA HA HA"
17. "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses
18. No vacation/PTO rollover, so half of my department is off at any given time.
19. The Christmas Day forecast for PHX calls for a high of 68 degrees.
20. Not flying Southwest to anywhere with actual Christmas weather this Christmas. :(

How funny! I just stumbled upon Ashlie's blog last week.
I know you included a link to the referenced post, but I think her blog deserves a more prominent link:

Curious,
Southwest operates no airport clubs. If they are important to you as a Southwest customer, you may want to look into Priority Pass. However, I am not very familiar with the Orlando airport and do not know if you would have airside access to either the United or Delta clubs (both available through PP) as a Southwest passenger.

Bert,
Thank you for such an interesting continuation.
Ramp Agents are really unsung heroes of the Southwest operation. Customers rarely, if ever, see them face-to-face and therefore have little opportunity to personally thank them or note them by name in a letter to Customer Relations.
If any rampers are reading this blog, thank you!

The Edward Scissorhands suggestion struck me as funny because if Gary did it, that would be his second Johnny Depp film character costume. That could be his theme going forward. In that vein, Willy Wonka would be good, too!

I'm amazed by all the demands for published dress code, as if you need a dress code to tell you it is inappropriate to expose yourself in public. Y'all can't really be that dense, can you?

Frankly, I'm puzzled why you blame Southwest when you admit you ignored the terms and conditions of the promotion. No amount of griping changes that fact.

I remember hearing the initial news on the radio as I drove to work that morning. When I got to the office, the TV in the lobby was tuned to live footage of the then-burning twin towers...
It was a strange day to say the least, and its horrific events are still vivid in my memory six years later.

Mr. Bueno,
No one need worry about their clothing, hairstyle, tattoos, etc. on a Southwest flight unless there is a lack of clothing covering their naughty bits, their pubic hair style (not a worry when you're appropriately clothed) or tattoos on said bits (again, not an issue with appropriate clothing).
I hope that clears up your confusion. Have a nice day!

Russ,
Unless your sideburns are somehow attached to your frank and beans, and you are going commando while wearing a kilt or short shorts, you have nothing to worry about.
Hope that helps. Have a nice day!
