Small suggestion regarding purchasing WiFi when on-board: perhaps for those with a RR account with an associated credit card there would be a way to simply log-in with our RR account and the CC info from there would be used by default? I would think if we are logging in from the same device the service could recognize that. That is, we could opt to "stay logged in" and not even have to re-enter our RR login info to pay for the WiFi (or a movie...or...). Making it easy is key. Sounds simple but fumbling with your wallet or whatnot to type in the information is a real hassle on the plane, and there is no need for it.

Yes, not too quickly. October 2017...still not working. Great airline, seems odd this is an issue in 2017. I would have figured SWA to have a strong IT department...but maybe since they have their roots as a "no frills" type of airline...

Ping. September 2017 - any updates with respect to VPN on WiFi on Southwest flights? Appears to still be blocked/broken for me. When I try to use Cisco AnyConnect to connect to my corporate network I can make the initial connection, but then my connection to the Southwest WiFi network on the plane is broken, meaning I don't have any internet access so everything stops working. Soon as I disconnect from VPN things are working again. In today's world, especially when you have to pay extra for the wifi, the VPN capability should really work. Been flying Southwest for many years. Currently flying often between BWI - SJC. Hope they get this fixed/upgraded soon.
