I found the magical combination. I put my phone in airplane mode. Turned on WIFI. Clicked on the password icon so I could view my password plain text. I was able to log in. I logged off and tried with the ecrypted password, no luck. I tried the above with 4G, no luck. Once you are in turn off airplane mode and wifi. Wait about 30 seconds for your phone to switch to 4G. Your Southwest app should stay logged in just fine. Southwest needs to look into this. Thanks for the hot tip! Steve

I purchased a new Galaxy S8 smartphone January 1, 2018. I have been using the Southwest Mobile app since 2014. I loaded the app on my new phone and received and when I try to login I get the following. The request is forbidden Error 403100000 () I've uninstalled the app, rebooted and reinstalled multiple times with no success. I get the same message when I try logging in through chrome at mobile.southwest.com. I pulled out my old Note4 phone, connected to wifi, and was able to login no problem. My new S8 is running Android 7.0 via Verizon. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, is there a fix for it? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The Southwest Customer Support 800 number was no help. Thanks and Happy New Year!! ?
