If you receive an email from the recruiter about the phone interview reply immediately so he/she can set a time and date for you about the position. It’s crucial for you to reply so you can let the recruiter know the you are serious about going forward with the position just be yourself and be punctual. The more you are yourself the end result will be a positive one.

I am former employee of Southwest it’s been a few years. I want to try a different avenue. So I applied for ramp agent. What can I do to prove I can do the work. I am always a firm believer in patience is a virtue.

Hello, I applied for the call center position here in Chicago two days ago. How long does the process take for me to get a response? Also, I never got a confirmation email because I entered the incorrect email but I updated it. How can ensure that I receive emails from a recruiter?

Sterling talent solutions told me my background check was completed July 31st. I did my f2f interview July 17th and did my drug test the next day. I just checked my dashboard and the part time ramp position in Phoenix, AZ isn't showing anymore. I got the contingent offer of employment letter the day of my f2f interview. Is it bad if the position is no longer on my dashboard? And when should I hear back from southwest about a training date and if I passed my background. (I don't have any criminal charges just a few speeding tickets)

From personal experience, the time you wait to hear from Southwest varies from position to position. I applied for one position on May 17 and didn't hear anything from Southwest until June 28. I applied for another position last Monday (June 25) and heard back from Southwest today. Patience truly is a virtue when trying to join the Southwest Family, but the end result is well worth the wait! Stay positive and keep us posted how it goes.
