Southwest can't point to Chase as the bad actor. There are post going back years about the bait and switch. Yet Soutwest continues to do business with Chase and promote Chase's products on the Southwest website. An ethic company would not continue to partner with a another company that is ripping of the public. In my humble opion.

We didn't take screen shots because we believed Southwest to be an ethical company. If you read additional posts you will see that even with screen shots, Chase and Southwest will not honor their contracts. One poster I've read did receive her points but only after getting data off her computer to prove she had selected the correct link for the number of points she had applied. So, if you are teck savey or pay someone who is teck savey to delve into your computer, you just might get your points. This is not what I concider to be ethical behavior by Southwest and Chase. Southwest points to Chase as the bad actor. But Southwest is still doing buisness with Chase after years of knowing that Chase is scaming people.

This has happened to countless people including myself and friends. I once believed Southwest to be an ethical company. I didn't even need or want a credit card. The points seems like a good deal since I was spending cash on a remodel anyway. For all the do-gooder posters out there. I am astute enough to know what I applied for. I met the exact tems and waited the appropriate period. I contacted chase and recieve a letter lying to me about the terms. I have cancelled the credit card and the chase bank accounts I used for business. For the do-gooder posters out there, no, I am not worried about damage to my credit score for merely cancelling a credit card.

Yes chgoflyer the link specifically tells the applicant they are choosing $60K point for spending $3K in 3 months. But the applicant only receives $10K points after meeting the specified requirements. (My personal and several friends situation) You posted elsewhere that purchaser should keep screen prints. Applicants don't get the screen prints because we believed (not anymore) that SW is an ethical company. I saw one post where the applicant was able to prove she selected the correct link and get her points but only after getting the data out of her computer. They will honor it, but only if the applicant is tech savey enough to prove they chose the correct credit card application link.
