Unfortunately he is not A list. His job is such that he can't always stop to check his phone. I checked myself in yesterday and then checked him in a couple of min later and the boarding spots were sequential, so it obviously tied them together even though he is the CP holder.

If we have a WGA fare booked for hubby plus me added as a companion, can either of us check in and still get sequential boarding? Or does it have to be the CP holder? Hubby won't be available right at check in time.

I am new to Companion but we did a similar thing earlier this year. We booked both mine and my husbands before our CP status but after we achieved status, the flight was sold out. I called SW to cancel and rebook as companion, but the agent said she couldn't guarantee that she could get the flight back once she cancelled it. I wasn't totally clear why she couldn't just hold it for me after cancelling, but she said she couldn't. So I chose not to cancel because I didn't want to lose my seat.
I kept checking back and eventually seats opened up, so I did get it changed to companion by calling.

The 4 upgraded boardings did post and were reimbursed on my card last November so it’s been plenty of time. So the 3 of 4 used that shows in the app is technically wrong. I would obviously be taking a chance and might have to pay for it myself if I upgrade again. Just wondered what anyone else thought the chances were that I might get another one paid for.

When I look at the Chase app that shows the perks of the credit card, it says that we have used 3 of 4 upgraded boardings (A1-15). I know we used all 4 on a trip and were charged/reimbursed on the statement that month for 4 of them. Do you think I would get reimbursed for another one? I hate to "waste" it if it really would be reimbursed.

I assume any unused upgraded boarding perks with my SW credit card will expire after a year, but I don't know exactly when that date will be. My annual fee posted on 12/1/21 which was during the 11/24-12/24 statement period. I should be fine to use the upgraded boarding for flights on 11/18/22, correct?
