Are there any plans to improve the speed of wifi on your planes? I fly on Southwest a lot and also on other carriers who use Gogo's solution; the speed of connectivity on Southwest is (based on my experience) much, much slower and more erratic than what is available on Gogo-equipped carriers. Also, the browser bar that is added to each web page by the Southwest wifi that tells the remaining flight time interferes with my corporate VPN - can that be permanently disabled?
Thanks very much for moving forward your wifi initiative! I find time over time that I am choosing a carrier on a route based on whether they have wifi, even if the price is somewhat higher. Wifi on a plane helps me be productive and is a great added feature.

Brian -- I know that you publish in PDF format on your web site, but would it be possible to publish in an application similar to what other airlines use? (http://www.goldenware.com/eTimetable.php) I certainly appreciate the PDFs, but you have to publish them for each schedule change and using an application such as the GoldenWare app (which I use extensively for SkyTeam) would be extremely valuable! Thanks in advance for your consideration! -Bob

Let Katie know that there is something better than her spreadsheet: www.flightmemory.com! Great podcast!
Consider doing a B737 MX podcast going over what is required to maintain a SWA B737 - A, C, D checks and overnight line MX.

73C = Ford Plane
73G = 737-700
TZ = ATA (the airline)
EDCT = Estimated Departure Clearance Time (i.e. in a delay, the estimated departure clearance time when ATC is in flow control)
ATC = Air Traffic Control
HUD = Heads-Up Display (the cool gear in the cockpit that allows pilots to land in low visibility - SWA has this on all current planes, a major differentiator to its peer airlines)
