I just received my new business card and am trying to spend $5,000 quickly so I can earn my bonus points to go towards my cp. If I use my new card today to book my hotel stay in July will I receive the the points once my billing cycle closes this month? The hotel stay is $2,600 and I have to pay half now during the booking process and the other 7 days prior to the stay. Will the $1,300 I pay today go towards the $5,000 I need to spend to receive the 80,000 points or will I not receive points for the hotel until July? I am not booking the hotel on the Southwest app. I am booking directly with the hotel in Mexico because it is cheaper. Any tips would be appreciated 🙂 thank you!
