Sadly SWA systems do not place the TSA on the 13-17yo boarding pass even though we were both booked together.
This appears to be a SWA system problem as it did work fine on our recent American Airlines flight. However on a positive note, TSA pre did not ask his age & let him through with me.
I’m incredibly frustrated with SW as I get a different answer with every employee I ask. . . Most of which contradict TSA written policy.
So sorry I don’t have more positive news. 😢

This is no longer the case… TSA policy is now “Children between the ages of 13 and 17 who will be traveling on the same reservation as an enrolled parent or guardian may also access the TSA PreCheck® lanes, provided the children have the TSA PreCheck® indicator on their boarding pass. ”

What if anything is SWA doing to support TSA’s recent change: Children between the ages of 13 and 17 who will be traveling on the same reservation as an enrolled parent or guardian may also access the TSA PreCheck® lanes, provided the children have the TSA PreCheck® indicator on their boarding pass.
My soon to be 13 yo son is my Companion Pass holder & 8 am trying to figure out how to get Precheck indicator on his boarding pass when he is traveling with me.
