Southwest is excited to announce a whole suite of complimentary inflight entertainment options for our Customers to enjoy. Across our WiFi-enabled fleet, Customers can now enjoy $0 Movies1*, Messaging2*, and Music3*, in addition to $0 Live TV3* and on-demand TV Series1* ranging from exclusive content to today’s top box office hits.
The free movie1* product has started rolling out across the WiFi-enabled fleet, with plans to offer it to the majority of our Customers by the end of the week. Just last month, on select flights, free messaging2* was introduced to Customers looking to stay connected with friends and family during flight. And in May, Southwest® introduced its newest onboard partner, iHeartRadio®, giving Customers access to the digital streaming service and its vast library of music and podcasts, where available.
The Inflight Entertainment Portal is offered across the Southwest fleet on WiFi-enabled aircraft. Customers can access the onboard entertainment options through their own personal device (mobile, iPad, tablet, or laptop) by turning on WiFi access, connecting to the “SouthwestWiFi” SSID, and navigating to www.Southwestwifi.com. It is not necessary to purchase WiFi in order to use the free inflight entertainment onboard. Customers should download the Southwest® mobile app to take advantage of free movies1*, Live TV3*, and TV Series1* content onboard. The Southwest app for iOS can be found in the App Store and for Android in the Google Play Store.
Customers can stay up-to-date on Southwest’s inflight entertainment offerings by visiting Southwest.com/WiFi. Check out which movies and TV channels are offered onboard, in addition to custom and exclusive content and TV series offered only to Southwest Customers.
So be sure to pack your headphones for your next flight, and be prepared to be entertained.

Move over Grinches—Now through December 31, Overstock.com is sponsoring complimentary holiday movies onboard Southwest WiFi-enabled aircrafts, including A Christmas Story, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and Elf!
To view the complimentary movies, you will need to have downloaded the free Airtime Player app, and ensure that all available updates have been applied. Once on the plane, look for the “SouthwestWiFi” on your wireless network and connect, then you should be directed to the Inflight Entertainment Portal. If not, go to www.southwestwifi.com and select “Movies” in the menu. All that’s left to do now is enjoy!

Southwest Customers can now enjoy complimentary access to hundreds of digital publications from Kobo’s world-class digital reading platform via the inflight entertainment portal.
