If you arrive at the airport with a boarding pass in hand and just need to check a bag, don’t forget to check to see if you are traveling through an airport with Express Bag Drop. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been excited to add St. Louis, San Jose, and Tampa to the growing list of Stations with this exciting product that lets you move past the ticket counter faster. Customers in 14 Stations are LUVing the simplicity and speed of Express Bag Drop. All they have to do is scan a boarding pass, use a streamlined version of our kiosks, and show a photo ID to the Customer Service Agent who will tag the bag. Express Bag Drop is just another of our innovations that helps you get through the airport faster so you can spend your time the way you want. Hey Matt,
Thanks for the feedback about the lanes in MDW. We've been working really closely with the Station and the TSA on this issue. We currently staff the lane entrance with someone to help direct Customers to the correct lanes during the morning and evening "rush" periods and recently did some enhancements to the way the lanes are set up, all in hopes of mitigating these issues you brought up. However, however, when all the lanes get backed up, TSA requires that all lanes be open to everyone to help move traffic. Without doing this, the airlines are afraid that people will start missing their flights.
Please know that we'll continue working with the various parties involved to ensure that Fly By remains a valuable product for our Business Select Customers and A-List Members!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all your comments and interest in our announcement! A few questions I want to chime in on.
Don't worry - we have no plans to allow cell phone calls or any type of voice service (VOIP) like Skype in the cabin!
As far as pricing - y'all have given several great suggestions. We've been testing a variety of price points, ranging from $2-$12, since June. The price is determined by the distance you are flying and the type of device you are using to get online and will be displayed when you launch you Internet browser. We are doing extensive research about this product, and the way we ultimately offer it will be determined by Customer demand and responses to our various research tools. We are excited to have the ability to customize our inflight wi-fi service and plan to continue evaluating different pricing options for the next several months. So stay tuned...
While we don't currently have plans to install in-seat power, don't forget that with the recent redesign of our gate areas, in most cities you can use our power stations to get your battery fully charged before your flight.
For more information on our inflight wi-fi service, check out southwest.com/wifi!
Thanks again for your interest and great suggestions. We LUV hearing this feedback!

Hey guys - I love all the thought you all are putting into this, and your ideas for different ways we could offer inflight Wi-Fi are very helpful as we evolve our inflight experience! Additionally, each of your suggestions are future product considerations that we will continue to evaluate. For this test, however, we'll just be charging per leg of your wi-fi flight (so yes Drew, Customers on direct flights will have to pay the applicable price for each segment). We definitely hear your concerns regarding the lack of convenience in charging per leg, but rest assured that this test is just the first step in determining how we might offer an inflight Wi-Fi product.

I was so excited this morning when I found out I would be on one of the test aircraft! I'm on my way to San Diego, and we've been passing around iPhones and laptops the whole flight. Like Angela said, the speed of the connection is great, and you can do anything up here that you could online on the ground. We've watched "The Office," read some news, and of course e-mailed all our friends to brag about what we're doing. In fact, one of my Co-Workers just refinanced her house on the network. This is so fun and making the long trip fly by!
