GO, SOUTHWEST, GO!!!
Southwest is particularly close to my heart. In 1966 I established a travel agency dedicted not
to quantity but to quality, naive enough not to know that quality brought quantity and today
I am still enjoying my work as I did the first day I went into the travel industry.
When Southwest started with 25.00 fares, not many travel professionals wanted to make
$1.99 commission on this fare, but I felt if it brought in clients, maybe next time they
would book a trip around the world, who could know! So, I sold Southwest tickets
right and left.
As I like to write letters of commendation - and I did so many times to our good friend,
Herb, he now calls me "Cousin Stella", and I treasure this mre thatn I can tell you.
Every trip I take on Southwest, is a wonderful and memorable expereince.

I love your commercials! It makes waiting a lot of fun. These are so much better than someone
telling you to go to a website to get all the information you need. THAT IS NOT TRUE! There are some things websites do not answer. All we need now is to have my "cousin" Herb
making one of those commercials. He is super and I miss having him at Southwest. It so
happens I had started my agency a few years before Southwest was born and Herb calls me
"Cousin Stella".....
At some point, you did not have these commercials but I am happy they are back.
