Does anyone know what a "Tier Qualifying Point" is? There's an asterisk by the term on the website, but never an explanation anywhere that I could find. Are ALL points "Tier Qualifying Points"? If not, which one are not? Also, to qualify for A-List or A-list Preferred status, or a Companion Pass, can you combine points and flights? If you fly 50 flights a year, and earn 55,000 points from other sources, such as your credit card, do you get a Companion Pass?
