I am a business traveller. I fly you 50 plus times a year. You go to assigned seating like the press says (in the same article which announces these flights) you are, and modify your rapid rewards further, you loose my business. Simple as that. How much marketing will you have to do to replace me, when you don't have to do anything but keep what has made you successful in place.
Do not forget who has made you profitable, and why. You become just another airline with assigned seats, and, not worth the bother.
