I have a habit of asking waiters and waitresses, flight attendants, etcetera, their names, so I can address them with respect. I believe it is a courtesy to acknowledge the people who serve me personally. When I asked an attendant on another airline what her name was, I was immediately confronted by the head flight attendant, was asked if I "had a problem," because she could fix my problem by escorting me off of the plane. Though I explained that there was a misunderstanding, and what my intentions were, and though I was "allowed" to remain on the plane, the attendants were rude and discourteous to me the entire flight. I will never fly FR_ _ _ _ _ _ r again. In contrast, I feel welcomed by the Southwest Airline's staff. I enjoy the flight crew and the attendants - their attutiude, dress, jocularity, and friendliness that make my trips relaxing and something to look forward to. I believe you all genuinely enjoy your jobs. Keep up the good work!
