I just don't understand the logic...have you not looked at the math.
If one person in a family has a peanut allergy then the whole family can not travel on your airline. If the average family has 4 people then you have to multiply the loss of customers from people with peanut allergies by four tiem to get the number of customers you have alienated.
This doesn't even include the number of people who have otehr allergies and those who know people with food allergies who may be prone to choose another airline in sympathy for those with food allergies.
Just take the time to look at the issue from a practical business perspective.
