Ray, What is your favorite airport to take off from to? OR your favorite airport to land? I love landing in San Diego because you can see the bay on the right hand side and you can see my ship (CVN 68) and i enjoy landing in ABQ because its my home. Back in the '90s there was a plane crash and it had to do with wake turbulence from another airplane. I believe it was the USAIR crash near Pittsburg. Micah and Jeremy, Micah people fly to Albuquerque because of the culture and the beautiful landscape. When the sun sets our beautiful mountains turn bright red we refer to them as the "Sandia Mountains". Heck if you want to drive up to the peak it would only take you thirty minutes. Or perhaps you could drive north to Santa Fe and experience the food, the music the relaxation. By the way we do have good fishing. Now as far as INN AND OUT BURGERS ARE CONCERNED... Nice article, although i think Southwest should have been number #1. They truly value their customers and yes i dare someone to write something negative..................:( because once again no airline is perfect but Southwest comes close. Greg, john and Kim Southwest will add more cities as it sees fit. You cannot over expand otherwise you will end up like some of the other carriers, deep in debt, strained relations with their employees and no profit. It is all about supply and demand.. There is no excuse for what happened to the passengers on jetblue airlines and American Airlines. Waiting ten hours on a plane is beyond comprehension. There is no excuses. There does need to be a customer's bill of rights. This would not have happened on Southwest airlines. They put their customers before the mighty dollar. Sorry i could not respond sooner... i am on a floating airport at the moment and yes we are out to sea defending our homeland... 🙂 Once again i must say that ABQ, ABQ, AND ABQ... ABQ IS THE BEST AIRPORT BY FAR. BEST FOOD, BEST ART, A VIEW OF OUR BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS, OH DID I SAY GOOD FOOD... Now i will say that i have fallen in love with another airport and that is SAN DIEGO' airport. Easy to get to, not to big not to small, just right and best of all one runway... although that one runway has created some controversy... Terri, I am sorry about your experience. No airline is perfect but Southwest comes pretty darn close to being perfect. Your flight could have been delayed for a number of reasons such as weather.
