I love the Southwests boarding process. I'll admit when I used to fly those other guys I coveted the fact that I could pick my seat when I bought the ticket, but once you learn the system it is so simple and easy to be an "A" and get a great seat on every flight. Our (my wife and I) seat is the starboard (that is right for those non-Navy types) exit row that has only two seats. We'll take that row every time even though the seats don't recline. Of course having quite a few hours of flight time under my belt as a Flight Engineer with the US Navy , I'm more than will to "man the emergency exit."

HAPPY 35th SWA ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I am also reading NUTS and it is a great read. On a recent flight to Oklahoma City,
I met Reggie (see his FA brief on page 66) as he saw me reading right after the preflight brief. I think he was supprised when I asked him to sign his page. Of course I did enjoy the same entertaining brief for our flight.
My wife and I are long-time supporters of SWA and support the repeal of the Wright Amendment.

The front of the bus is the best... I am suffering from a bad case of flying withdrawl. I am a graduate student that retired from the US Navy last year. I did a lot of flying for 22 years, most of it from the Flight Engineer seat of an E-6B (707). Now I live vicariously through my travels on Southwest. One more year of school and then it is back to aviation, hopefully with Southwest.... You guys are awesome!
