One large kitchen sponge is worth a thousand paper towels. Use it, wring it dry. Every time you run your automatic dishwasher put it on the top rack. If you're still worried about germs, wet it and put it in the microwave for one minute.

AC power would be nice but on most flights not necessary. But you might tell Boeing to add it to the planes you buy in the future.
Pricing, if any, should be by itinerary.

Great idea, SW. I'm also pleased at how you did your homework first. Here's a manual trackback:

Wow! I'd like to thank the many people above who said they will no longer fly Southwest. It'll make it that much easier for me to get an aisle seat on the exit rows.
Hang in there, SW. Since I wasn't there, I'm not going to judge anyone.

I carry an ethernet cable and a travel alarm clock so that I don't spend 20 minutes figuring out how to set the hotel clock. I also agree about the flashlight. I also include a small Sudoku book and a pencil which I use between pushback and 10,000 feet when electonics can be used.

I've been a Customer since the 70's. Just within the past year I have become sick and tired of spending more time standing in the A line than I spend on my flight (AUS-DAL, or AUS-HOU). I'd love to try this out. I'm finally coming around to wanting assigned seats.
Thanks for seeking our input.

Stove is right about Amy's Ice Cream in Austin, but if you need pizza, go to Mangia's across from the food court. The slice and a half will fill you up. If you have a little more time, go to Salt Lick and get their bar-b-cue plate.

I want to compliment the crew on flight 2417 on 10/12. MCI-AUS. Two birthdays celebrated, clever safety and other messages and smooth flying. Positively Outrageous!!!

Back in March, I blogged about a flight attendant's announcement on my customer service blog. I'd tell you what she said, but I need the page views:-)

I thought the big race was when the steam boats raced each other down the Ohio river. You mean there's another?:-)
I lived in Louisville back in the early 60's. Lovely city.
